Ham and Broccoli Quiche

This
quiche needs no added salt due to the addition of the ham and the cheese. If you do find it needs it, add it to your
individual serving.

Ingredients
- 1 recipe pie crust (or store bought)
- 1 head broccoli, cut into bite size pieces
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 onion, minced
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 ½ cups diced cooked ham
- 1 ½ cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 4 eggs, beaten
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients as necessary. Set the eggs out to warm to room temperature. Microwave bland the broccoli for 2 minutes. This more or less par-cooks it just a bit and ensures it is cooked completely.
- Preheat the oven to 350. Slide your piecrust into the pie plate and begin by adding the chopped ham, and the broccoli.
- Saute the onion and garlic for 3 minutes in a small pan for about 5 minutes, then add to the pie plate.
- Whisk the eggs, cheese, and milk together, add the spices and pour over the ham and broccoli. Sprinkle an additional bit of cheese over the top.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes until done.
