Since
forever that fats send me (Crohn's) I always look for alternatives to things I
love. I need to try turkey again, maybe
it's improved through the years. IDK. Ground chicken IS extremely dry, so you do
have to add a little fat.

Total time:
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground chicken
- 1/3 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 grated onion
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tsp olive or avocado oil
Instructions
- Mix all of the ingredients together until well blended. Use your hands, otherwise the chicken will get gummy.
- Form into patties, and set aside. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium to medium low heat, spray with a mister, add the burgers, and a little more seasonings for the top.
- Continue to cook just as you would a beef burger, except check the temperature, it must reach 165 to be considered done. (someone in my family has experience with raw chicken burgers made in another country).
- Serve with your favorite condiments, I used tomato, red onion, lettuce, and some salsa Verde blended with avocado.
