Recipe

Delicious - and yes it was - damn delicious! I have made this many times now - it's kind of a go-to recipe when there is a small bit of broccoli hanging out in the fridge and some red peppers. Works with all seasons, just whenever you want something good and fast.

Ingredients
- 1 (5.6-ounce) packages refrigerated yakisoba noodles 2 people
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound steak, thinly sliced across the grain
- 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
- 1/2 teaspoon
sesame seeds
For the sauce
- 3/4 cup sodium soy sauce
- 3/4 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon Sriracha, optional
Instructions
- In a small bowl, stir together the sauce ingredients and 1/2 cup of water.
- Rinse the yakisoba noodles in a colander with hot water until loosened.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat, add the steak (seasoned with salt and pepper) and cook over medium high heat until browned.
- While steak is cooking, microwave the broccoli for 2 minutes to begin the cooking process and make them more tender than crunchy.
- When the steak is cooked, stir in the noodles and broccoli, mix well. Stir in sauce and heat through. Cook for an addition 3-5 minutes until the sauce is slightly thickened.
