Suarez Columbian Cake

Ingredients
- 3.5 cups ap flour
- 3.5 cups sugar
- 4 sticks butter
- 2 zest of two limes
- 1 zest orange
- 1/2 cup grape wine
- 8 large eggs
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground cloves
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Mix dry ingredients together, set aside. In a large bowl, mix butter until creamy, and then add sugar, beating again until creamy. Add the lime and orange zest.
- Add 1/2 of the flour to the butter mixture, then add 4 eggs, mix well. Add remaining flour and eggs, mixing well. Add the 1/2 cup of wine.
- Place mixture in a well-greased Bundt container, there will be enough left over to make a small loaf as well. Bake for 1 hour or until done

The Suarez Columbian cake is directly actually from Columbia. Mark's mom makes it every year and she was gracious enough to pass the recipe along. I don't have access to grape wine, and I should have made it in a bundt. Not the other pan, but all in all, it was good. I do need to redo this recipe to make it correctly.
