Apple
Crisp

Ingredients
- 2-3 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Topping
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 tbsp butter, melted
Instructions
- Place your apples in the dish you will be baking in. Add the sugar and cinnamon and stir to combine.
- In a small bowl, add the butter to the topping mixture and stir well. If you need a bit more butter, then melt some, but what you are looking for is a moist crumble.
- Using your hands, crumble the topping over the apples as evenly as you can.
- Bake in a 350 oven for 30-45 minutes or until bubbly.

Notes:
This is an ad hoc recipe, because it is just too simple. Always a favorite though. We had some apples laying around that needed to be used, so we came up with this. This has been a favorite since the 70's and something my mother actually made really well.
